I am a single mother of one and an educator of 19 years. I teach high school students in the inner city of Cleveland, Ohio. A few years ago, my daughter began playing volleyball for a private league. To help cover the cost of her volleyball fees, I started a fundraiser making and selling custom beaded bracelets. Little did I know that it would be such a success. People continued to request them after I raised the money to pay for her volleyball fees. It immediately turned into a small business and the rest is history.What advice or words of wisdom would you like to share with a young person interested in your field?
